The youngest member of korean group Super Junior. Known for exceptional vocal skills.

Pre-debut

Kyuhyun was discovered at a Chin Chin Singing Competition. He soon signed under SM Entertainment and was featured in the video of a remake of TVXQ's song "Hi Ya Ya" with other Chin Chin idols.

Offical Debut

Kyuhyun joined Super Junior after they made their debut in November 6, 2005, being the 13th member and last final addition to the group. He made his first appearance as Super Junior in the news on May 23, 2006.

Car Accident

On April 19, 2007, Kyuhyun and three other members of Super Junior Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and two managers, were in a car accident. All suffered injuries, however Kyuhyun had the worst injuries of the four. He had a fractured hip, broken ribs, and facial scratches/bruises. The fractured hip was bleeding and his broken ribs have come down on his lungs. He was slipping in and out of consciousness, and couldn't really speak because of the shock. Leeteuk had an operation regarding glass shards that were in his back, the operation was successful in removing them all. He also had a scratch near his eye and various cuts and bruises. It is believed that he needed 170 stitches. Eun Hyuk also had glass shards in his back, however they were not as serious as Leeteuk's. Shin Dong was said to have only minor injuries. Shindong was discharged a few hours after the accident and Eunhyuk was discharged a few days after the accident. Leeteuk was discharged April 30th, 2007 and Kyuhyun was discharged July 5th, 2007. The three members Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk have been back on schedule, Kyuhyun will resume his activities when he is fully recovered in about August or September.
